2. Turkey-Shaped Vessels

Turkey-shaped vessels make for fantastic thanksgiving decor. There are vases, crockery, cutlery, and even salt and pepper shakers available in turkey shapes. Decorate your dining table with these collectibles as Thanksgiving decor for home. Add matching runners, plants, and candles to perfect the scene. Turkey platters have graced dinnerware since the 1800s and can even be used as wall decor to be hung around your house. You can even quickly put together a vintage turkey cloche using a glass cloche, a cake stand, and a turkey figurine.

It’s the perfect time to experiment with napkin foldings. Leaf, turkey, boat, and pumpkin are popular napkin foldings in Thanksgiving decor ideas. Bowtie is a household favorite shape that can be folded quickly using the following steps:

  • Fold the top and bottom of your square-shaped napkin so that the two ends meet in the middle.
  • Fold the opposite sides too inwards to form a square.
  • Flip it over so that the folds face the flat surface.
  • Pinch the center to form 3 creases and secure it gently with a napkin ring.
